I really mean it, guys! This is the best Chicken in the World. If you like mustard and honey, than this is for sure the recipe for you. I know that chicken can sometimes get boring and this is exactly why I really wanted to try to spice things up. So after I tasted a very nice salad dressing in a restaurant I thought “hey, mustard and honey can go with almost everything, but I am really gonna try it with my rosemary chicken in the oven”. And it worked! Pretty soon it became my family’s favourite, even if we are not big fans of mustard and we just adapted the taste to our own preferences and everytime I made this I was closer and closer to that “GREAT!” compliment.

You need little ingredients and only a few minutes to prepare a very nice and healthy dinner. If you are a fan of strong mustard use a good Dijon, if you like things mild go for a Honey Mustard and if you like hot food, pick a Spicy Mustard. The secret here is the honey, so try to taste before you put the dish in the oven and keep in mind that cooked it will taste a bit more intense. So don’t add too much mustard and if you feel that you went a little too far add honey and everything will taste delicious.

We love sweet/sour/spicy combinations so the recipe below follows our taste and it’s the best I ever made for this chicken. If you are not sure what to go for, try this and start adjust for you own taste. Just have fun, taste and be innovative and you will obtain the best chicken in the world!

I like to serve it with a few baked potatoes and a nice iceberg salad with carrot and onion. It can also make a nice pair with green beans and baby carrots.

Preheat the oven at 200 C. Pat the chicken dry and cut the top layer in three places. Sprinkle the top with some salt and rosemary and let it rest.

In a large skillet preheat oil and fry every chicken breast until pale-brown on both sides. You don't have to fully cook the chicken, because it will go for 30 min in the oven.

In a clean bowl mix the remaining rosemary with salt, pepper, mustard, honey and garlic powder.

Place the chicken in a tray and pour the mustard mixture on top. Be sure that the meat is coated in sauce and place it in the oven for 25 min. Put the last 5 minutes on the grill so the top get's a bit more colour.

I am Adriana and I love food, as you can probably see from what I cook. I like to bake and I like to experiment with new tastes, and my 2016 resolution is to try to cook healthy and special meals every day.
