Everyone loves pizza. Or at last a lot of us do. But sometimes we look for that special taste in a different recipe or we just want to make it a little more special and for those moments we have a very large variety of recipes. For tonight I chose a BuzzFeed one (that I cannot find anymore) that combines the crispness of a baguette with the softness of cheese in a perfect dish. Very easy and super fun to make this Bread Pizza Sandwich will be on our favourite list for a long time.

Preheat the oven at 170 C. Cut your baguette in half and remove the inside, leaving only the crust.

Cut the mushrooms, the ham, the mozzarella in cubes and grate the cheese. In a bowl mix half of the melted butter with 1 clove of garlic crushed and 1/2 tbsp oregano.

Add half of the butter in a pan and saute the mushrooms. When they become golden and soft, add the ham and cook for 7-10 minutes until all the juices are reduced. Pour the ketchup on top and mix with the oregano, the basil and 1 garlic clove crushed. Mix until everything is combined and cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool off for 5 minutes and add the grated cheese on top. Quickly mix together and start filling your bread.

Start with a few cubes of mozzarella, add 3 spoons of filling and repeat until filled. You can secure your bread with the inside that you took out if you are afraid that the cheese might ooze out. Our tray is the right size for the kind of bread that we use, so it fits just perfect, securing the ends.

Butter your tray, brush the bread with the butter mixture and place in the oven for 20 min.

Remove from the oven and let it set for 5-8 minutes. Using a bread knife cut gently big pieces and serve immediatly. It will enough for two very hungry people!

I am Adriana and I love food, as you can probably see from what I cook. I like to bake and I like to experiment with new tastes, and my 2016 resolution is to try to cook healthy and special meals every day.
